Tools and Hardware Reviews of Culligan WSH-C125 Wall-Mount 10,000 Gallon Capacity Filtered Showerhead, Chrome FinishCustomer Review: Culligan filtered shower head Summary: 3 Stars
We have noticed a definite improvement in water quality (we have very hard water in this area). It has eliminated the chlorine smell, and soap actually works the way it is supposed to now. Installation and subsequent filter changes are simple and straightforward. The only negative is that this shower head appears to require a high water pressure, and has a higher flow rate than I would prefer. Turn up the flow to make the massage settings work correctly, and you're out of hot water in less than five minutes (we have a 20 gallon water heater). I'd say this product will work best in combination with tankless heaters.
Customer Review: Good Product Summary: 5 Stars
This showerhead is a wonderful buy. I smile every time I step into the shower, knowing 97 per cent of the chlorine and large percentage of other unhealthy components are being filtered out of the water. It is a bonus to have the variety of settings from rain, to spray to pulsing to VERY strong..which is great for rinsing after shampoo and major back massage for those who enjoy this. There is also no doubt that my hair and skin are softer and feel healthier. This is not a stainless steel and is quite light weight, but is very easy to install, owns up to it's description and is definitely value for money spent.
Customer Review: pleasantly surprised Summary: 5 Stars
My wife and I have really hard water in our town. We had become accustomed to feeling slimy and soapy even after showering, but we decided that $30 was a reasonable investment to see if we could improve our water. We were quite surprised to find that this shower filter does make a noticeable difference in how soap washes off and I'm left with a cleaner feeling after finishing my shower. If the filters last as long as advertised, this is a great economical purchase to improve the quality of your showers.
The unit is easy to install, but I needed a medium-sized wrench to secure it to the water pipe.
Customer Review: Perfect once you get used to it Summary: 5 Stars
I recommend taking out the water saver....the spray has a massaging feeling with it out and takes half the time to shower. Once the water is on the head stayed put. No floppy showerhead like some reviewers complained about. One thing that was a surprise. You know how your hair is when you get out of a lake or ocean? That is how my hair feels...strangely thick and pieces of hair separate. Some people complained their hair felt dry but personally I like it. Love the lake water feel :-) Make sure and read the directions.
My only con would be it would be nice if the dial was easier to turn.
Customer Review: No More Dry Skin Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using my Culligan Filtered Showerhead for 2 months and my dry skin issues have gone away. My feet used to be like sandpaper no matter how much lotion and buffing I did to them. Now, after using filtered water, my feet are no longer an embarrassment. This weekend I was staying with someone who did not have a filter. My hair is frizzy and my skin looks dry after 2 showers.
This showerhead is better than the builder's special that I had before. The spray has a lot of pressure and it is wide enough. I am very pleased with this showerhead. This is one of my must-haves.
