I'm surprised legally they are allowed to call this stuff "Thinset" it is in reality a glorified mastic. I used it on a small kitchen floor thinking it would be simpler than mixing up a proper batch of Laticrete and while it was simple, open the can and spread, the results are horrible. It has been two day and the stuff has still not set. Tiles that I had adjusted and set perfectly during the install have slowly and mysteriously begun to rise, fall and shift between a 32nd and 16th of an inch. I guess I should have figured that if it can stay wet inside the bucket for months on end, how long will it take to cure under the tiles? While I saved myself a few minutes not having to mix water and powder, the waiting game has begin and I strongly regret ever using this all-in-one gimmick.

No mixing and no mess alternative to traditional thin set mortars spreads quickly and easily. Bonds porcelain, stone, marble, granite, and ceramic tile up to 18'' x 18'' (45 x 45 cm). For interior wall and floor installations. Suitable for wet areas such as tub surrounds and shower walls. Do not use on shower floors or areas that are exposed to prolonged water or steam. Do not use to install fixtures, stone tile, porcelain, Saltillo pavers, or glass tile. Bonds to concrete, masonry, plaster, drywall (dry areas), WonderBoard, cement backerboards, exterior grade plywood (dry areas), existing ceramic tile, and vinyl flooring. Protected with MoldGard Technology to resist mold and mildew growth. Under normal conditions allow a minimum of 24 to 36 hours drying time before grouting. Remove fresh mortar from tile surfaces with a damp cloth. Cleans tools in warm, soapy water. Coverage: 50 to 60 sq. ft. per gallon using a 3/16'' x 5/32'' V notch trowel for tile up to 6'' x 6''. 40 to 50 sq. ft. per gallon using 1/4'' x 1/4'' x 1/4'' square notch trowel for tile up to 12'' x 12''. 25 to 35 sq. ft. per gallon using a 1/4'' x 1/4'' x 3/8'' square notch trowel for tile over 12'' x 12''.
