I want to keep it short and sweet. I am deployed in the middle east we are using our fixed blade and folding knifes like crazy, this sharpener is what we now rely on.
I have had it for just under a week, I have sharpened over 12 blades they all come out great and less than 5 minutes maybe up to 10 depending on the condition of the blade.
I am buying the fine extra fine sharpener today in fact to get a better edge.

This sharpener really works well. The course side really gets the edge quickly into shape and the fine side makes it really sharp. I also ordered the large Green (1200 grit) diamond 6" stone to put a razor sharp edge to my kitchen knives, but for most people this small double sided whetstone will make their knives sharp enough (cuts paper easily, but can't shave hair).
Made in the USA - you can't go wrong. Get it, you'll be happy you did.

I have used a lot of knifes over the years and always keep a pocket knife in my pocket. I never leave the house with out it and I always sharpen it.
This sharpener is absolutely incredible. 3 slides on each side 3 times and flip it over to the fine side and 3 times on each side and it is razor sharp.

I've been using this sharpener for about a month and it is pretty good. It has held up surprisingly well and when it gets dirty from extensive use, just wash it in the sink with dish washing liquid. I had only a basic knowledge of knife sharpening before buying this sharpener and I can now make a blade "hair-popping" sharp using it, no BS.Customer Review: It would probably sharpen your teeth

Bought this item for use on carbide blades for my table saw. It's almost too thick for that job so you may want to look for something thinner. Sharpening knives and plane blades is another story, 30 seconds and you're done. The whole thing is really handy, no oil, no mess. When you're done, fold it up and throw it back in the drawer. Nice.
