Tools and Hardware Reviews of Wireless Remote Control Outlet - Turn Outlets On/OffCustomer Review: Not Reliable...do not waste your money Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased this item to replace a 15 year old remote switch I purchased at Radio Shack, which functioned reliably for those 15 years. This switch did not come close to living up to expectations. The unit would not light the attached item unless the remote was positioned in a particular position within 10 feet of the control box. Most times, therefore, it would not work... I had purchased five units, one for myself, the others for gifts. They were all returned. Additionally, the vendor made it quite cumbersome to return the products. No identifying information was packaged with the shipment. I had to research the vendor online. Calls to the 800 number were met with a recording, instructing you to leave a message and wait for a callback. What a hassle. I would therefore NOT recommend this item, nor would I recommend this vendor.
