Customer Review: A Real Man's Lunch Box

I have been searching in town for some time for a lunch box large enough for my husband. Even during the school shopping season I was never able to locate one large enough to put at least two disposable plastic dishes in and most won't even hold one.
While we have not tested the full storage limits of this lunch box yet we have found it will hold one large and one medium container or two medium and one small container in the bottom section. The top is large enough for several pieces of fruit and some chips.
The construction is very good. The zippers heavy duty and the fabric appears to be of very good quality.
You will need blue ice if you plan to leave items in the box until lunch time as it will not maintain temperature by itself.
While we have not filled the lunch box fully yet, we plan to take it with us to hold drinks on future car trips.

I'm not a young person, but this is my first lunch cooler. I've carried the oldschool "lunch bucket" to work for 29 years, but I dropped my old one once too many times. They don't exist at reasonable prices any more.
This is a nice sized cooler, large enough to give you the option of carrying small frozen dinners or Tupperware containers, and gives me enough room to carry small magazines for my breaks. The footprint is barely larger than my old workman's lunch bucket.
I'm really enjoying having the extra room in my cooler. Now,if someone sells me a can of Turtles or some other thing at work I can generally find room for it in there.
The only defect I found in it was a pulled thread in the shoulder strap, which is just a cosmetic fault.
It was shipped smashed flat, took a little time with a hair dryer to bring it back into shape.

I have been using this bag for about 6 months now and I love it! I take my breakfast and lunch with me to work each day and this bag holds it all. I put a flat cold pack underneath and one on top of the food in the lower compartment and it keeps everything cold all day and into the evening. It even keeps the upper compartment cold enough to keep something cool. The zippers work fine and the outer material is pretty much indestructible. The one thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars is that after about 3 months of usage, the plastic/vinyl lining material started to crack and split- especially near the zipper and in fact gets caught in the zipper at times. I've had to tape some areas to prevent it from getting into the zipper. This affects the aesthetics more than the function and it is not enough of a nuisance to prohibit me from giving this bag a very positive 2 thumbs up!Customer Review: mobile cooler/lunch box

This bag is over built to last. Just looking at it without even touching it, you know right away it is nothing but quality you have never seen before. It is worth every penny. Most of the bags I have bought was pure junk. This one ends the hunt for a nice canvas lunch bag instead of the big bulky ones like Playmate. It even has a top and bottom. It's like having two lunch boxes in one. I never would have thought you could find a product that was built with this much quality and made to last. The zipper is extra heavy duty so you will never have to worry about it breaking or hanging up. The canvas the bag is made out of looks and feels like the canvas the Army use to use to make their tents. Heavy, durable, and made to last through the roughest of jobs. I give the Dead On Tools-300 Killer Chiller Mobile Cooler an easy 5 out of 5!! I received the item today, and was instantly impressed with the amount of space it has. Unlike most lunch boxes, the Killer Chiller has multiple comparts for extra storing for your eating utensils, extra snacks, and holds various sizes of tupperware. I'm not too fond of the Dead-On logo, but the bag itself is made of a nice, durable fabric, and the it even comes with a handy shoulder strap. I am a fitness nut who consumes around 5-6 meals daily, and this lunch box provided the space, versatility, and convenience to ease the troubles of caring around multiple meals! This is an excellent buy, and Amazon shipped the product very fast (i'm currently deployed to Korea and the product arrived in under a week)!
