Tools and Hardware Reviews of Dead On Tools DO-300 Killer Chiller Mobile Cooler/Lunch box, Black

Customer Review: 2 tiered multi meal carrier.
Summary: 4 Stars

If you want to take both lunch AND dinner (or breakfast and lunch) -- get this. It has 2 large compartments. This also accommodates ice packs nicely. This is FAR bigger than the typical desk job lunch requires. Might be good for short car trips and those odd days you're feeding a few or just want to toss in a bunch of food in a bag and go on a (very tough looking) picnic. Bit bigger than I bargained for despite the warnings, now I know. I'll keep it on hand but will use my ebags slim lunchbox for most of the time. If I choose to experiment with a lunch /microwave dinner combo this bag will be perfect.

Customer Review: Great bag but the liner rips
Summary: 4 Stars

I've had the bag for about 6 weeks now and it's working out great. I use the bottom compartment to carry my lunch and the top for my wallet, book, gloves etc.

The only problem is that the liner of the top compartment has ripped at both ends where the wire frame, which makes the bag sturdy and holds it open, folds... The liner isn't flexible enough to fold like that so it cracks and then rips.

I doubt I'll ever use the top compartment as a cooler anyhow, so I still love the bag - I'll probably remove the liner or patch it with gaffer tape sometime.

Customer Review: Awesome lunch box!
Summary: 5 Stars

Got the item in two days, packed my lunch on the third. This thing can hold sooo much food! I work 12 hour shifts, so I eat two full meals and three snacks at work. I can fit all my tupperwares, fresh fruit, water bottle, etc. Especially love the zippered mesh pocket on the front for my utensils, I always used to forget them but now I don't because I can see them. I love the two separate parts, this lunchbox is definitely a keeper. I just wish they made one without the logo on it because all the guys at work pick on me and ask me if it's my new purse.

Customer Review: Top notch
Summary: 5 Stars

This item is true to its advertising. I am on a personal austerity campaign so instead of buying food on concert or shopping trips, I can take chicken salad and fruit, for example, knowing they will be just as they came from the refrigerator, and can have a picnic all by myself. I also take my own coffee (that's another product) instead of enriching Starbucks. I figure I save about $10.00 per trip, and multiplied by about 20 trips per year, that is a savings of $200.00 per year with healthful food in the bargain.

Customer Review: Not the Greatest
Summary: 2 Stars

This lunch box is bigger and much clumsier then I expected. The zipped mesh pocket in front is much too small to hold anything with any real bulk (like a cell phone)and is hard to get in to. While the 2 separate food compartments seemed like a nice idea when I bought this, in reality it doesn't really well for me.

Would have rather have larger mesh pockets on the outside to hold a drink bottle (or 2) and only one good size compartment for the food.
