Customer Review: good quality, easy install, interesting look
Summary: 4 Stars
First impressions: This is a heavy, well made faucet and had I found this at Home Depot or Lowes it would have been at least twice as much money.
Installation: Install was a piece of cake, instructions are included as well as water line hoses. Note* the hoses included are 19" hoses and they use a somewhat non-standard connector on one end that Home Depot does not carry. I needed 30" of hose to reach my above-counter sink so I bought two 12" extenders from Home Depot and that worked great.
Performance: The water comes out as a very pretty waterfall as pictured. As the water falls to the bowl it starts to become a much tighter stream, but this is to be expected as I am sure I could find a reason for this in a physics book. The tighter stream at the bottom is actually nice anyways to get some higher water pressure for rinsing out my toothbrush and the like.
The only problem I have had is due to my sink bowl, it is a somewhat shallow bowl with deep slopes, if I have the water on full blast it hits the bowl at an odd angle and can splash out of the bowl.
Appearance: By looking at the photos of this faucet online I would believe that the color of this faucet is a dark almost gunmetal or black color. When I got the faucet in sunlight or in the bright light of my bathroom, the color was much different. It has a definite purple-hue that I was not expecting and not particularly fond of. However I have decided I can live with it. I will see if I can post a photo of it later when I get a bit of time.
