Customer Review: These drill bits not for everyday use.
Summary: 1 Stars

I am thinking about sending mine back because of quality issue. These bits sometimes tempt DIYers that only need to drill one hole, and assume the bits will do the task. Disappointment normally ensues. These drill bits not for everyday use.
As an example, one hole in soft brick took around eight regrinds just to drill the one hole, and the job was hard going and took nearly an hour.

Customer Review: Probably Best Value, and Great for Beginners
Summary: 4 Stars

These bits are not Top of the line or even 5 star bits. They are nothing compared to my DeWalt and Craftsman Bits, But they are worth the value. Paid around 16 dollars for it using a screw extractor as a filler, got the free shipping and applied a coupon i got.

For 16 dollars getting all of this is a steal. This kit is great for beginners. Most noticible is how cheaply they are made. The boxes are a good idea, i just labeled all four of them. The bag is good, i would say i saw a bag like that in sears for around 10 bucks. Although the bit drivers do not come with a sleeve, Most professionals use 3 to 6 inch bits in impact wrenches, so thats not really a problem.

After using the spade bits, and the HHS bits i can say, they are not even sharp to begin with. The nut drivers are good although they aren't magnetic.

Over all this is a good set for the price. Quality isn't top notch, but it will get the job done. I give it 4 stars because of everything they give you for the price. Quality rating i would give it 3.

Customer Review: First Time Drill Bit Buyer
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my first set of drill bits, I'm using with a brand new Milwaukee 14.4v drill. All the bits have worked great so far. I'm using them mostly with wood projects, every bit so far has been sharp and accurate. I used masking tape to stop any tear out on the other side.

The bag is also a great deal, its tough and it helps me keep all the bits organized. I just wish the four cases were labeled as I have to constantly open 3 of them to find the right bit. I've never heard of Denali before, I'd think about buying their other products after purchasing this set.

Customer Review: quality
Summary: 4 Stars

the small cases are a nice touch. you can take what you need with you, and dont have to lug all your bits. the bag is also handy and can stand up to a jobsite

Customer Review: cheap but worth it
Summary: 3 Stars

yes i agree with the other reviewer that these masonry bits are worthless. the spade bits aren't all that sharp and dull easily, even when just drilling through wood. the hex bits aren't very useful if they aren't magnetic.
professionals don't use the 2" bits offered in this kit, except once in a while when a screw is buried in wood and can't be reached with the standard 1/2" bit. professionals use 1/2" bits accompanied with a bit driver with a sleeve. you put the bit in the bit driver, then extend the sleeve over the head of the screw so it wont slip out when you drive the screw. if you don't have one of these drivers, the bit will slip off the screw head, especially when using phillips screws, and the bit will hit your finger, and it will hurt, leaving a blood blister or tearing the skin, even through gloves sometimes. this is known as "cam-out." with more resistance, in torque, ie driving screws in harder, thicker materials, such as a 2x4 as opposed to ½" cdx plywood, the more likely the bit will "cam-out" of the screw head. even worse is when it cams-out and damages the fine, exotic baseboard or trim that costs over 200.00, plus the time to go get more, uninstall the damaged piece and reinstall the new one; (for some people putty is just not an option).

but for 20.00 this kit still seems worth it; 4 cases and a carrying case. you can always upgrade the bits and use these bits for "lenders," in case they never come back. i spray paint mine so i know if they end up in someone else tools, i can retrieve them without conflict. just pick out your color and spray everything.
