Customer Review: Lousy case and bits break easily

First I must acknowledge that for this price, it's hard to complain too much about quality, but for those who think they are getting a wonderful deal, I must pose a warning: you're not.
The case is flimsy; the latches fall of easily. As others have experienced, bits were loose inside when it arrived. This isn't such a big deal, but something to be aware of.
The piece count is inflated by the inclusion of many duplicate or almost-identical pieces. Turns out that's not such a bad thing though because some of those pieces break quite easily! The drills, including the "titanium" ones break quite easily. If you want to drill into drywall they will have no problem, but I had two bits break in half while trying to drill into a hard wood. The normal one first and then the titanium one.
Also worth noting is that the "titanium" bits don't have the quick connect ends, only the normal bits do.
So in conclusion, this is a cheap set that is ok for very light duty work, but should probably be compared to a 68-Piece or even smaller set from a better manufacturer for price comparison.

I ordered this drill bit kit and it was lost in shipment, so Amazon sent out another. I received the first kit afterwards, and decided to keep both and paid for both since these were useful kits. The drill bits and bits are nice quality, but the same cannot be said for the carrying case, especially the small bit carriers.
In both cases, the smaller bits arrived loose out of their respective slots. In both cases, the little carrier cases had broken tabs, so they cannot be closed securely (i had to use Scotch tape to tape one of them shut). Not a big deal since I won't be using the small bit carrier cases much.
Overall, if you want nice set of drill bits, this kit will do for the price. Just don't expect the secondary part of the kit (the carrier cases) to be up to quality.

Overall its a nice set. It is replacing my old Black & Decker bit set. In comparing the build of the set, the Denali is made better. I took some small drill bits from each set and saw how easy it was to bend the bits using minimal force as to not destroy the part. The B&D parts bent a little easier and even feel poorer. I would call the Denali set hardcore but it is of average to slightly above average. For the price and the size of the set, I don't think it can be beat. It was between this and the Hitachi 72 piece set, and I decided on this and have no complaints. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wouldn't call it perfect. But then again I do believe you get a little more than you pay for.Customer Review: find it is a good value for the $30 price

I was impressed with this product upon opening the box. Now as I have used the bit's, I am still impressed.
I find it is a good value for the $30 price I paid for it. The travel case was much maligned by others. However, I find it is a much better box than any others I have seen of this type. I must be fortunate as the latches and boxes are all still performing well.
The specialty adapters and bits are great. These are not common with other sets. Oh yes, the everyday bits are here too, in spades. Your cost averages about a quarter for each bit and the cases are free. Can't beat it! If the case goes bad, throw it away. it is Still a good deal!

I bought this set to make sure I have everything I need for drilling and driving screws. The set gives me that and more! It's really a great combination of accessories that would be difficult to find for anywhere near the price of this one. The downfalls to the set are first off that it appears the set was stored in a damp place or somehow got water in it because a few pieces are rusty. The second is that the case is cheaply made. It has a place for everything but it doesn't all fit snuggly and some items fall out easily when you open the case. Neither was enough reason to be concerned about but if they are items you would worry about keep them in mind.
