This is a very well constructed flashlight with an immensely bright beem. Its downfall however, as stated in previous reviews, is the NiCad battery which can not stay on the charger indefinitely. I was hoping that this light would come with a base or that I could at least rigg one so that I could mount it in my truck and have a good light handy when I needed it. The fact that I can't leave it plugged in makes this light bad for that application but, I don't regret buying it because it does make a good household light.Customer Review: Let there be Light and then some .

Nice flashlight super light weight super bright almost literally turns night into day .
I tried comparing my other flashlights too the Dorcy International , that's like
trying to compare lead with Gold . A fantastic flashlight at a bargain price .
Don't find many of those types of deals any more .
If you're looking to illuminate the night life purchase a Dorcy International 41-4299 rechargeable and clearly see the light .

I read all the reviews and did a little research and decided to buy this flashlight and I am not sorry that I did. In fact, my husband liked it so much I ordered him one and he loves it. I wish the company included instructions with the flashlight, they don't tell you how long to charge it the first time, I charged it for over 24 hours and it is working great.The light is really bright and lights up all the dark and scary places in our yard.I would buy this again.

My husband is a truck driver, and leaves before sunrise eveyday, I bought this for him, because of the good reviews, and because it is both ac/dc rechageable, He loves this light, it is very brite, and casts a wide path, it's also light weight, and easy for him to handle while working outside the truck.
