If I were rating this light on build quality as well as the quality and quantity of light I would give it five stars. However, the battery supplied is a NiCad which suffers from memory problems. The recommendation is to fully discharge the battery before recharging. Therefore having a fully charged light available for any emergency of use is prevented. I wish it were powered with a LiIon battery which does not suffer from memory problems and can be topped off any time necessary. I read all the reviews and did a little research and decided to buy this flashlight and I am not sorry that I did. In fact, my husband liked it so much I ordered him one and he loves it. I wish the company included instructions with the flashlight, they don't tell you how long to charge it the first time, I charged it for over 24 hours and it is working great.The light is really bright and lights up all the dark and scary places in our yard.I would buy this again.

This is a great flashlight. Very bright. It output is more like a "spotlight" than a "flood of light". Seems well made, charges well (so far, i've only had it a month). The one thing I would have liked is if it were more durable. I haven't had any durability issues, but it's not rated for being beat up too bad. The description is clear on it's durability though. Overall, I love it. I was VERY impressed and surprised on how bright it was when I turned it on and shined it about 400feet across my back yard.Customer Review: Let there be Light and then some .

Nice flashlight super light weight super bright almost literally turns night into day .
I tried comparing my other flashlights too the Dorcy International , that's like
trying to compare lead with Gold . A fantastic flashlight at a bargain price .
Don't find many of those types of deals any more .
If you're looking to illuminate the night life purchase a Dorcy International 41-4299 rechargeable and clearly see the light .

I ordered this and got it in really quick. This flashlight is really bright and u can see the beam for a good distance. It comes with 2 chargers one for home and the other for auto which I love. This flash light is like a small spotlight and lights your traveling area up really good. You can't beat this for the price and for how well it preforms. 4 of my uncles and cousins who fish and hunt ordered this after I showed them it. I highly recomend this.
