We use this light for the Neighborhood Watch Citizens Patrol. We have had one for two weeks and love it. We will be ordering six more in the near future. Its really bright with great range. We also intent to incorporate this light into the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). The multiple charging system makes this light ideal for field use. Very reasonable price when compared to law enforcement flash lights but just as durable.Customer Review: Very bright with Rechargeable Battery

It's very bright, I'm not sure if the madlight is brighter, and the deal breaking is that it uses rechargeable battery for both AC & DC. So, you won't need to buy battery for a long time, you can charge it at home or from
your car. I just had it for a month and could'n judge the endurance but LED should last even longer than the classic ones. So far so good, other LED flashlights for the same brightness cost much more.

The power of the beam coming from a modestly sized unit is amazing. I live in the country and the beam illuminated trees over 100 yards away with enough light to easily see details. It is more powerful than my 5 D cell battery Mag Light. I purchased this light after reading reviews here and elsewhere and am delighted with the unit. This light is really bright. I haven't had it that long, so I can't comment on the battery, but the flashlight itself it excellent. Solid aluminum construction and well made. I was surprised to see only one little LED sitting atop a circuit board...that thing really offers a lot of light.
It's a great around-the-house light, and would probably serve well to stun and disorient things that go bump in the night.

Have been returning these flashlights to dorcy know for 9 months. Problem with emitter. Should do nationwide recall. Items in every sears store in u.s. territory. This item has admittedly been a problem claims dorcy the maker. I bought 5 for christmas gifts, all were bad and so were the replacements -- twice-- sing along -- were is the light you said you'd give to me so that you and me can see where were going ...
