Customer Review: Don't get this stuff on your skin!

I used this stuff to fill some large holes/cracks, etc. around the house. First, a review of the product - I filled the areas around electric pipes, and some other holes into the basement, and I am happy with the way it filled everything in. It looks sturdy and solid, and dried quickly. I used a serrated knife to level off the excess. You will not end up with a smooth surface, and you will have to do some touch-up after removing the excess, but it seems to have bonded well all around. Now onto a BIG caution: WEAR GLOVES! On the can, it said something like 'if you get it on your skin, it has to wear off'. I figured this was just to avoid lawsuits from telling people to use paint thinner on their skin or something. Not true! It really means what it says. There is no way to get this stuff off your skin. I tried using a brand new pot scrubber with degreaser, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, paint thinner, alcohol, and nail polish remover, and none of it even started to take any of it off. After trying each of the above, and then wiping my hands on a white towel, there was not even a hint of anything coming off. It literally bonds to your skin, and the only way it's coming off is with the underlying skin. Caution #2: If you have gotten some on your skin, DO NOT use paper to wipe it off! The paper is just another surface to this stuff, and it will also literally bond to the paper like another layer of skin. I walked around for three days looking like I was picking up dog poop with my bare hands. Finally, I bought some thin latex gloves, covered my skin with Vaseline and put the gloves on for a day. The Vaseline softened the skin, and made it easier to scrape the skin off. I am on day four, and still have black blotches all over my hands. The can also says something like `expect one-time use', which is true. I let it sit for a few hours and the stuff in the dispensing tube had solidified. They only give you one dispensing tube. I didn't really care, since I had limited stuff to do, and it's pretty cheap.
