I went into this purchase knowing that it was not going to replace what a dentist could do for me.
I followed the directions and I applied the entire piece to my mouth. WOW, they looked cartoonish! So, I took the advice of another reviewer and made a partial. This worked fantastic. Took some time to get it to fit comfortably, but it works and that is all that matters.

they look fake, don't get your hopes up. They are hard to fit as well.
