I've had these up in heavy wind storms and fasten them down.. The held up to the wind.. There very strong and block people from seeing you.. It's great for me because I don't like my neighbors seeing what I'm doing while I'm outside and since their strong I've been able to leave them up. Ha ha can't see me..
