Tools and Hardware Reviews of Duck Brand 1299529 Indoor 5-Window Shrink Film Kit, 62-by-210-Inch

Customer Review: Never received item....No communication
Summary: 1 Stars

Watched tracking on this item and it appeared shipped December 29 2009. Never came to my address and was sent back to sender for address correction, which I'm assuming they had put incorrect address on item. A few weeks later (WITH NO FORM OF COMMUNICATION FROM SHIPPER) a refund appeared on my debit card. Ordered 3M window kits from Amazon.com, received within a week and FREE SHIPPING!!! Wouldn't recommend seller!!!!!

Customer Review: Easy and cost effective
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought the window kits last year to prevent drafts and lowered by heating bill instead of replacing all my windows. It was easy to put up and lasted all winter (I even left one on for a year because I rarely use that window). I would use an all surface cleaner to wipe the perimeter of the window instead of using the towelettes. You'll also need an extension cord for your hairdryer to completely seal tall window.

Customer Review: Happy Homeowner
Summary: 5 Stars

I live in Florida and was looking to fine a means to stop the air conditioning from escaping through my old windows. Since new windows or storm windows were not in my budget, I thought I would try the "shrink wrap for windows". I am very pleased and I was able to do six windows with the one package. They were not only easy to install, inexpensive, but fun to do. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Customer Review: Seems to work well
Summary: 4 Stars

Figuard I would try this out on my old single pains to save a little money.
Easy to do.
1.Use wipes to clean surfaces
2.apply 2x tape
3.afix plastic
4.trim if needed
5.Heat (says to use a hair dryer but I don't have one so I used a heat gun on low)
Turned out real nice, just hope when it comes time to remove it is easy and doesn't mess with the pain on my trim.

Customer Review: Read the fine print, if you can
Summary: 1 Stars

This product is labeled as a "5 pack", which implies it is 5 packs. Instead it is enough to do 5 windows, depending on size. It is not a value over the identical product sold in any hardware store. The fine print that tells you it's for 5 windows is too small to read in the online picture. I wasted my money when I could have gotten it locally for the same price.
