got 1 of 2 straight edge clamps,shipped quickly.looks like a good clamp and should work nice.unfortunatly,looks like ups used it for forklift ramps or something.end busted out of package and chunk torn out of box in middle.big gouges in clamp where box was torn.should have sent back,but needed clamp part to finish job.hopefully next clamp is in better shape.i hope bases will slide in tracks without binding too bad.Customer Review: can't cut wood without it

This clamp is the best tool I ever owned. Fantastic tool makes your cutting work so precise and accurate. My God where was I before buying this clamp. I can't add more go ahead and grab one if you need to cut sheets of 8 feet or smaller you wont regret it. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT. I ALSO HAVE THE 24" AND 50" CLAMPS. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS PRODUCT EVER SINCE I USED THE OTHER 2 SIZES. WORKS GREAT NO CROCKED OR BOW CUTS. RECIEVED IN GOOD CONDITION. If you need to work with 4ft by 8ft stock or slightly larger stock you need to look at this tool. this tool lets you make straight cuts in the material so you can fit you table saw. The only problem I have is finding place to store the guide when not in use.Customer Review: Great design, however, it WILL flex!

Great design, however, it WILL flex in mid-cut if you are holding a circular saw or router tightly against the clamp. It will NOT be a straight cut. This clamp needs to be beefier. So, I returned it to Amazon.com. I thank them for that.
