Description of Bendcalc Pipe Bending CalculatorThe Bendcalc pipe bending calculator is the best thing to happen to pipe bending since the pipe bender (does anybody remember having to use hickeys?). With Bendcalc, pipe bending layout is easier than ever. The distance between bends is quickly and easily determined for both saddles and offsets. Shrink amount for both saddles and offsets is just as easily found.
Bendcalc is great for both beginning and expert pipe benders. With Bendcalc there is no need to learn the first thing about trigonometry. There is no need for multipliers or cosecants. Just dial in the bend angle (any angle between 10 and 60 degrees). Bendcalc will then give you the exact distance between bends or shrink amount for any depth of offset or saddle using that bend angle you are likely to want.
Bendcalc works with any kind of pipe bender. With hand benders we usually stick to the common bend angles embossed on our benders. But with mechanical benders we have the whole range of bends easily available to us. Bendcalc makes it EASY to determine the layout of bends using uncommon bend angles. So, with Chicago-style ratchet benders, hydraulic benders, or motor-driven benders we can now easily make those difficult layouts that require uncommon bend angles.
REAL TESTIMONIAL:
"I ordered the Bendcalc, being a little skeptical...Boy was I wrong. I have been a member of local 613 for 30 years, and have always prided myself in my ability to run conduit. The Bendcalc, has made my job alot easier, as I was not trained on the formula method. It's simple, fast, fool proof, and easy to train apprentice's on conduit bending. Have an area you have to get an offset in, put in the distance between bends and it tells you what angle to bend on, and it comes out perfect every time. Just slip it in your back pocket and your ready for any pipe running job. Thanks for a GREAT PRODUCT in the Bendcalc."
