This bag easily slides and clicks into place. When it's full (I usually remove before the light comes on) you just pop open the back of the vacuum, pull the little cardboard piece which is attached to the "door" that seals all the dirt inside, and then slide the whole bag off and out of the vacuum. The Electrolux sweeper that uses these bags is very expensive and so are the bags. If I had known that I could only purchase these online I may have chosen another vacuum system. Be careful ordering this item!!! I ordered it exactly as pictured but a different item was sent. The return department said I ordered the wrong thing but what is pictured was exactly what I wanted. The product is something I use. Just needed more. I liked the fact that I received free shipping, yet had to order the product three times the amount I wanted, to get the free shipping. Still they are something that will eventually all get used.
