These are, far and away the best sheets I have ever owned! I've had sheets with twice the thread count that I like half as much. These are incredibly soft, like brushed cotton, while still being very very strong. They feel, right out of the package like sheets used for 30 years, so very soft but so very sturdy at the same time. Worth every penny. Good thing they're not so expensive though, what with all the sleeping in I'm doing now, leads me to get less work done! :)Customer Review: WOW I love these sheets!

I ordered these for the guest room. I like them so much, I just ordered another set for our room. These are very high quality, with pretty stitching and a nice sheen to them. Soft as can be to the touch. I don't know what that other reviewer was talking about. I bought them in cafe color, which looks like liquid gold when you throw them in the laundry pile. I'm very impressed. They're nicer than the sheets I paid a lot more money for at a giant store.Customer Review: Good Sheet Set

This is a good sheet set for the price, however, along with these, I ordered another set of the Renaissance 600 Thread-Count Woven Stripe Queen Sheet Set, Ivory from the same company, Elite Home, and those sheets where superior to this set. Both were advertised as Renaissance 600 Thread-Count but the Ivory Striped set are remarkably smoother than this set....Customer Review: Like them but NOT love them

I got two sets since the reviews of this item were very good. They are very nice - smooth but not sure it is soft, and very strong (thick). This means it takes longer drying time.
As usual (unless it is made in Italy???) the finish is very cheap (not a high end). As a matter of fact, one of them is not "squared" so I can't fold right (one side is longer than the other side?).
I guess it is still very reasonable set but I can't give 5 stars.

The color was not at all what I expected, either from the picture or the word (Cafe) used to describe it; instead, the sheets were a light gold. Also, I expect sateen sheets to be smooth and silky, especially with this thread count, and these were stiff and uncomfortable. They actually crunch when you move around in them. This is the last time I buy something like this online; from now on, I'm not buying sheets unless I can see and feel them first.
