Customer Review: Definitely Great for the Price, but Yes a Little Rough

I was very pleased when I received the sheets. For the price, you can't beat the weight of the sheets, very heavy, beautiful sheets. The Ivory color is just perfect and exactly what I needed to go with my bedding set. It's a little more yellow than the picture lets on, but that's what I was expecting based on other ivory sheets I've purchased.
I do agree with the other reviews, though, the sheets are a bit rough out of the package, but if you wash them with some softener, they are just fine and for $40, you really can't complain about that. They feel great on the bed after washing (and really who puts sheets on their bed without washing them first?).
My only other issue is that when I opened the package, the sheets seemed to have some loose threading that pulled out. I haven't noticed any other stitching gone amiss after washing, but we'll see how well they hold up over time.
Overall, very satisfied.
*** I changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars after washing the sheets - they are absolutely splendid!! And for the price? You really can't beat that! No loose threading to be found after washing and none of the seems lack integrity. I'm so pleased with this product!!!

Renaissance 600 Thread Count 100% Cotton Sateen Queen Sheet Set, Chocolate I was impressed with the feel and strength of the sheets but that ended quickly. These are NOT standard queen sheets, right out of the package it was very hard to get the fitted sheet on. The top sheet was obviously undersized and was barely able to cover the mattress and have a little over to tuck under. The pillow cases did not fit my sealy pillows. One washing and it was all 2 of could do to get the fitted sheet on the mattress and it did not cover all the way. I gave the sheets 2 stars for the feel and strength but would not buy them again or recommend them to anyone.Customer Review: Just like grandma used to have

I was looking for sheets that were thick and not so silky soft. I was worried when i saw the package I had overlooked the "sateen" part and thought they might be the fake silky texture. They weren't. They are just like the ones I grew up with, mom hanging them on the line in the summer so they would be just a little rough. I'm not a fan of silky feeling sheets. I have not had any shrinkage problems, fit my queen size Sealy with a 2" topper just fine. I did not have to wrestle with the bottom sheet and was pleasantly surprised about the larger than ordinary top sheet. The price was right! Over the years I have spent up to 200$ on a set of sheets looking for the softest and best sheets for comfort and wearability. So naturally, seeing the price made me skeptical. Once the sheets arrived, I was surprised how soft they were right out of the package. Washed them once before putting on the bed and there literally was hardly any wrinkles (I caught the dryer right away). They have exceeded my expectations and have been far better than some of the 1,000 count sheets that I spent far more on and have used as drop cloths for painting. Highly recommend these sheets. Hope you enjoy as much as we do!

I read a review on these sheets that said they were super soft and wonderful, so I bought them. I also figured that most 600 thread count sheets would be pretty soft. After 1 washing, I put them on the bed and crawLed in, expecting a cozy and soft experience. I've had softer sheets from Target that cost $10 and are 200 thread count. I felt like I was sleeping between 2 sandpaper sheets. I hate them, they were a waste of my hard earned money and would return them if I'd kept the packaging. DON'T BUY THESE SHEETS!!!!
