I purchased our Emerson MoistAIR humidifier from our local Home Depot store in 2009. I was extremely pleased with my purchase and pretty impressed with the quality of the product for the money. I have to admit however, I was very displeased with the availability of the replacement filters. After about a year of owning the humidifier I thought I'd browse the humidifier/filter aisle at Home Depot to quickly find a replacement filter, but sadly they don't carry them or at ANY Home Depot. I guess you could say this was a tad frustrating when time is money!! After also searching a few local hardware stores, who also did not carry the humidifier or filter, I started my search online. I am willing to admit I'm not an avid online shopper, mainly because I'm skeptical of the seller or the poorly designed/secure site, so hopefully this review builds your confidence in purchasing the filter through Amazon. Amazon has been one of my top web sites I to turn to when comparison shopping because of all of the great reviews and reliable customer base.
Since replacing the filter in my Emerson humidifier, I have had zero problems. The filter was very easy to install and wasn't damaged or used. After growing up in the midwest for most of my life I've learned cold, dry winters wreck havoc on the air quality in your home. I am very happy with my purchase of this filter on Amazon. I also read the few customer reviews that recommended the water treatment product you add to the humidifiers water before running the humidifier. The air quality of our home is important to me so I also added the Bacteriostatic Treatment product on to my order at the very last minute. Overall I'm pleased with the filter and treatment additive. I'm not 100% confident the treatment is doing anything, but I notice the air is less dry in our home! I'll be replacing the filter once every year and most likely return to Amazon!!

This Emerson Humidifier filter features honeycomb filtration to trap mineral pollutants found in water and help prevent them from entering the air and fits models MA-0600, MA0800 and MA08000. It also features a patented rigid support long-lasting design, with an antimicrobial agent. It measures approximately 8" x 31 3/4" x 1". For optimum performance, replace pre-filter every 2 to 3 months.Replacement Wicks
