Customer Review: Vacuum Bags Not HEPA

I order these bags because they are a lot less expensive than Sears'. But they are not the quality of a Sears bag. Sears is HEPA and very thick. These bags are thin and not micro anything. I wanted the HEPA vacuum because my wife has COPD. However, she has never used it (Guys, NEVER never buy a vacuum cleaner for your wife). So I get the less filtering bags, which are fine for me.Customer Review: Amazing Deal

This is a GREAT price and just perfect for a replacement bag... better than the original design... sometimes we take a chance on "replacement" versions of original design but this one is perfect... and better than old style... BTW I have an old canister that now has New life... great suction allowed by these new bags and cleaner too...Customer Review: Good value. No problems.

After getting tired of the high prices for the bags available at Sears and Walmart, I took a chance on these and have no complaints. I can't tell whether they filter as well as more expensive bags, but I do have allergies, so I would assume that I would notice if they weren't up to snuff in that regard. After moving, I couldn't find the replacement bags for my Kenmore vacuum. Instead of running out to Sears, I checked Amazon and ordered these bags - at a much cheaper price. While they seem to do the trick, these bags are smaller than the original. Of course, for this price point (and the fact that you get 9 bags!) it can't be beat.Customer Review: Not HEPA

These are cheap paper bags, not the HEPA cloth ones. They are also significantly smaller than the "Kenmore Q - replaces 50557" ones that I was replacing. Although the write-up and photo of the product on the Amazon site indicated that they were for 50557 and 50558 bags, the product that I received only says 5055 on the package.
