This is a great product for a hard clear finish. Before I started my project, I put both bottles in a container of hot water(not boiling). This warmed the product. It poured very easy and with less bubbles. Also, I put a small heater in the room to warm the room up. The warming of the room and warming up the bottles helped the harding of the product in less time. I did find that blowing through a straw (5-10 after pouring) did make the bubbles disappear. I faux finished my kitchen counter top and it is beautiful. Currently, I am faux finishing a corner table in my hallway. Then, I will us the Envirotex Lite for a clear hard finish.
Description of Environmental Technology 32-Ounce Kit Lite Pour-On, High Gloss Finish
Envirotex lite is a reactive polymer compound. It cures to a thick, glossy coating in about 8-hour at 70-Degree f, and reaches full strength and toughness in about 72-hour. This durable, resilient material requires no polishing to produce a high gloss. One coat is all that is usually required for a deep attractive finish. However, two or more coats maybe applied one over the other by simply wiping the surface with a clean cloth and alcohol prior to recoating. Envirotex lite may be used on wood, fabric, decals, bisque, photos, paper, metal, models, painted surfaces, dried flowers, plaster, rocks, sea shells, bread dough, styrofoam, and more.Tools and Hardware
