I bought this clock because I am visually impaired. It has lovely bright large numbers. It also has a great feature - it comes with the time pre-set at the factory so you don't have to re-set it manually after a power outage. Small problem: It runs slow. Since I bought it in April 2010, it has lost 4 minutes, and continues to slow down. And the "Insta-set" feature leaves the user with no way to manually adjust the time. So it's a great clock for the visually impaired... unless of course you really want to know the time, in which case, avoid this one!Customer Review: Great Basic Alarm Clock

The clock operates very well; it auto-sets itself as soon as it is plugged in (or after the electricity comes back on after a power failure). It is easy to read - even from a distance; the alarm is easy to set and use. A major plus is that you can set the correct time in any time zone in North America including across Canada and in Alaska and Hawaii. The clock is not fancy but it does what an alarm clock is supposed to do: Display the correct time anywhere and operate well as an alarm device.Customer Review: work as advertised, except.....

Just what I ordered, a large digit type digital clock. Everything arrived promptly and set up was easy. So far after a few months it has been running pretty accurate. Can definitely see it from my bed to the TV (set on top of it) about 10-12 feet away without any problem in the dark. The only blemish (minor) is the digit on the right is not completely lit up ( a small portion is dark). Too lazy to return for exchange since it really does not pose a problem.Customer Review: Incorrect instructions and old watch battery when you get it.

Watch battery only last about 3 years so it may be about dead when you get it. Time was accurate when it left factory. Instructions are not clear. Must unplug power, remove 9V and dead watch battery under screw cover, plug in, You my have to press small balck reset button next to battery under the screw cover. Then press DST and hold down until time appears press +- and DST to to accurately manually set time and then install new watch CR2023 battery.Customer Review: Worked for 2 yearsbut now it doesn't keep time

I bought this clock about 3 years ago and it worked fine until about 6 months ago. It started to run slow about 3 or 4 minutes. Now it is off by 20 minutes and I have to throw it out. Because the clock is supposed to set the time automatically when its plugged in, there are no buttons to adjust the time. Unplugging it and plugging it back in does not fix the problem. Shouldn't these clocks last more than a couple of years?
