For the record I have bra strap 3c/4a textured hair. I purchased Mega-Tek because my hair was in dire need of protein. This product has been a lifesaver for my hair. To my surprise the breakage has stopped and I'm able to retain length. In fact it appears that my hair has gotten significantly longer since using Mega-Tek. I don't think this produce is a miracle growth serum that everyone is reporting. If used correctly I do believe Mega-Tek will strengthen your hair and in turn enable you to maintain length. From reading the other reviews, I do believe the women are experiencing noticeable growth because their hair is not breaking off. Personally I didn't have any issues with shedding or dryness since I made sure that I had adequate moisture for my hair. I do recommend using this product every other week. using it too often may lead to protein overload.Customer Review: Works believe it or not

I still can't believe it but this stuff works! I was skeptical when I heard people via forums or youtube reviewers swearing by this stuff but it actually, crazilly enough, works. You could either use it as a conditioner and rinse it out or mix it in a bottle along with castor and jojoba oil and peppermint oil and massage it into your scalp. I had a small bald spot and wanted to nip that in the bud and started using my megatek mix three times a week on that spot and it's been 3 weeks and there is f*$*#ing hair GROWING back. I had to do a double friggen take in the mirror to make sure I wasn't just kidding myself! There was a bald spot that you could touch the skin of my scalp and now there is hair GROWING in! I've been also taking multivitamins along with vitamin b-complex and biotin. Crazy!Customer Review: Great results!

I started using MT because of reviews on Youtube. I have used this product 2x's a month since October and my hair has gotten longer. I am nervous about Protein overload but have not experienced it but I also take garlic pills just in case. It smells great and you only need to apply to the scalp not the hair. I did a test on the nape of my hair. If you are thinning or balding from hair braiding or weaving this certainly helped me and this product will last a looooooong time for me. I've been natural for 5 year but only discovered a few months ago how to care for my natural hair. I look forward to seeing more results by the time June comes around! I have been using this for about 2 weeks, and I have a bald area on the top of my head and my temples. I am seeing new growth, I agree with one of the other reviewers when it drys the hair is stiff and hard. My routine is to oil my scalp with it, I have been during this once a day, but after it drys I reoil my scalp with Olde Jamaica Black Castor Oil Hair Grower with tea tree oil. And this combination is working for me. I love the smell of Mega-Tek, its tropical and the conditioner is light. I haven't been using it as a regular conditioner, and even with everyday use, I haven't had any shedding. And I wash my hair once a week.Customer Review: Growing my hair again

I started using Mega-Tek Rebuilder about 21 days ago. My husband and I went out for brunch and when we returned he said, "That is your real hair isn't it?" because I wear wigs sometimes. He said "I wasn't sure because it looks thicker and longer too". I said good that's what I was hoping for.
I have hypothyroidism so it is difficult to keep growing my hair because it usually breaks off and now it is thickening up and growing in such a short time. I am hoping it will continue.
