Ok, so how may people actually purchase a tool so they can police the trash that other folks throw out their windows? That's me. I got this as a tool to keep from having to reach down and pick up every piece of trash along the roadside. I have used this tool and collected enough trash to fill 10 state provided trash bags. The great thing about this tool is that it just works! Whether you are picking up a can, bottle, or a straw it can grab anything. It also has the extra benefit (to me) that I don't have to step into the tall grass and increase my chances of getting into ticks or chiggers. The tool is just long enough to reach and grab stuff off the ground, but not too long that it becomes a problem "unloading" into a trash bag that is in your other hand. If the tool were a longer reach that might be a problem. No problems at all with this device. Highly recommend it.
