The belts that I received are not Eureka originals rather a generic brand and they do not work as well. They are slightly bigger and so they fit loose on the vac. I have already had to use 2 of them because the first one slipped off and burnt.

After wasting several hours going from one store to another (all licensed Eureka dealers BTW) I finally had the good sense to search for this on Amazon. Bingo. Five minutes later I have what I need. The belts fit - as one would expect. The price was "right" and the delivery was on time. When your vacuum cleaner's belt breaks the machine no longer will pull up the debris. The belts do wear out - so buy a pack and have the spare on hand for that inevitable time.Customer Review: Eureka Type R belt

Looked locally and felt the prices were too high (approx 2x). I paid a much more reasonable price and shipping cost for a replacement item. There is no problem with the belt itself. However installing it and making it work is not a trivial task. If you are handy person and can make changes on the fly to make it work, that is good. Otherwise have a technision take care ot it.
