We purchased the everpure complete kits with hot and cold in an appliance store and brought the replacement unit online every other years since it's more convenience for us . We have been using this home unit for almost ten years with no problems. Our household size is small and we purely use it as drinking water and not for cooking. For cooking, it's fine to use tap water since its boiling temperature will do the work. It's very convenience than buying bottle water. The only thing I like Everpure unit to improve is that instead of packing with a battery indicator reminder, it's better to come with something such as paper test strips to simply testing the water condition periodically so I can tell exactly when to replace the filters.

The water that you will have will be sparkling and healthy. The H1200 has an exclusive precoat technology that removes impurities as small as 1/2 micron in size. The Everpure H-1200 system finely polishes treated water to premium quality for drinking and cooking. The Everpure H-1200 water filter cartridge reduces chlorine taste and odor, chloramines and other bad tastes and odors. Provides bacteriostatic control which means it prevents bacteria from growing and multiplying. KDF media inhibits microbial growth as tested by KDF Fluid Treatment, Inc. Reduces parasitic protozoan cysts such as Giardia, Entamoeba and Cryptosporidium Reduces methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) and and lead. Effectively reduces volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), including trihalomethanes (THMs) Inhibits limescale build-up in water-using appliances as tested by KDF Fluid Treatment, Inc.
