Doulton Replacement filter for the Franke FRX02 water system seems to have a restricted flow causing hot water to sputter when dispensing. This didn't happen with the O.E.M. filter, which came with the original unit. I followed all the instructions, including breaking in the filter by running the water through it for one half hour, but the water continues to sputter when dispensing. Although the price is lower, I intend to go back to the Franke O.E.M. filter next time.

Franke filter No frx02 Uniflow, Little Butler, and Triflow filter replacement 2"x10" Doulton M15, Genuine Doulton Ultracarb Ceramic Filter. This filter is not made by Franke. The Doulton M-15 Fits the following models: Franke Triflow & Franke Trispray Franke Mini Triflow Franke Triflow Trend Franke Little Butler - 2000 Carron Phoenix Tri-pure System WHAT IS AN ULTRACARB M-15 CERAMIC FILTER CARTRIDGE? The Sterasyl ceramic is fitted with both an activated carbon block and an ion exchange resin insert to produce the Ultracarb. Among other things, activated carbon is very effective at removing chlorine and organics from water. The ion exchange resin specifically removes lead from water. Ultracarb is designed to be used in pressure filters (on a mains water supply), not in gravity filters. Benefits: Ultracarb has all the benefits of Sterasyl removal of particles, pathogenic bacteria (E.
