I purchased this product to help me in my business when I have to install kitchen cabinets. It works ok but the retraction device is hard to use with one hand (unlike another less expensive product that I have used) and the worst part is that these 3rd hands are too long to fit under the standard 54" upper cabinet height, I have to cut them down to fit so I can use them. I know that this will void the warrantee, but otherwise I won't be able to use them for what I initially purchased them for. Otherwise, I like the one hand extender function and the quality is as I expected.Customer Review: Love these

I needed a way to keep dust in the work area and out of the non-work area and these more than serve that purpose. Very good quality and useability factor is very high. I've got another half dozen ideas for how to use these. Although a part was missing, I called Fastcap and they replaced it quickly - and included a free accessory for my trouble - a sign of very good customer service. I really like the way they thought out the included storage bag - a must if you have more than two poles and associated accessories. Keeps everything in one place and easily stored.Customer Review: great product

I used this product for a complete kitchen remodel. During the demo lots of drywall was removed so I was grateful I put up my plastic wall barrier with the Third Hand System. Two walls were exteriors and these walls hand no drywall for 5 days. The The Thitd Hand System helped with the cold tempertures to stay with in the inclosure I set up with the system. The owners were also very impressed with the quality and function of this great dust barrier product. Amazom provides great products for perrsonal and business uses.Customer Review: 3rd set 3rd hand

This is the third set of the 3rd Hands I've purchased. They are extremely well designed and I enjoy using them, but, this set was not so well built. Of the four poles in the kit, three of them had some kind of defect that made them hard to use. They can be repaired, but who has time and the materials to do that while you have a crew looking at you and waiting. I still will use them but I am dissapointed in the recent lack of quality. If I needed a fourth set, I would buy another, hoping they are built better.Customer Review: Useful tool; but all parts of pack don't fit in supplied bag

Useful tool. I bought the 3rd hand contractor pack thinking that the bag would be useful to put away everything in the pack, in one place. Turns out that the four units do not fit in the bag - the bag is too small. No way for the four supplied UniversalFOOT (UniversalFEET?!)to fit in there. Would have been nice if they had made the bag bigger so you could actually get all the stuff in, and conveniently.
The 3rd Hand is a 5, but this rating is overall for the contractor pack, since the bag is of no use to me.
