I had previously purchased the zip wall package and have been satisfied. The 3rd hand poles do a great job once they are up and they cost a quarter of the price of the zip wall(plus it comes with a carrying bag..nice). The zip wall is much more user friendly if you are by yourself. But, if you are working with someone that can give you a hand setting it up with the plastic then you're good to go. Beware though....the black pads do leave black marks on finished walls and ceilings if you bump into them.Customer Review: No Dust

Purchased the full set, and was very satisfied. My wife loves getting the projects done around the house but hates the mess. I used the 3rd hands for holding up plastic in front of a garment filled closet while I worked on the trim and sheetrock around the opening. No dust on the clothes at all, magnets worked fine. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to keep the dust where it belongs. I will be ordering Fastcap "Doormag" clips in the future as well.Customer Review: More useful than I thought - GREAT VALUE

I bought these tension poles solely to support plastic draping to contain dust. But I found them incredibly handy when I needed to hold up a fixture while the adhesive cured (1 week!) and they even helped keep a dropcloth in place while I painted.
They are very well made and although no instructions were included... very easy to figure out.
Rugged, well made and easy to use. Wish I had found these years ago!

I'm a Home Improvement contractor, who at times, needs a third hand, or to put up barriers to protect a customers furnishings.
I found this product to be extremely handly, but with a few draw backs. The adjuster buttons are very hard to push in to adjust the height. Also when used on an angle, the rubber pad broke off.
The 6" pad does not fit at all.
I plan on contacting the company for replacements.

These are fantastic! I am remodeling the master bathroom and vanity area in our house. As soon as these were delivered, I had them out and in use. They worked perfect for holding up the new sheetrock while I cut the holes for the lights. Next I used them to make a dust barrier when I cut around the doors and electrical outlets. I still haven't put up the crown molding but I will be useing them there as well.
