Tools and Hardware Reviews of Febreze 04530F Odor Removal ApplianceCustomer Review: Wowza!! Summary: 5 Stars
Ok, just like a lot of people out there, I love Febreze. As a pet owner and a mother of 4 smallish children, I admittedly go through a lot of the fabric refresher and the room spray. When I saw this I jumped on it, although I wasn't completely sure that it was going to do it's intended job of keeping the kitty littler box odor to a minimum. Boy, was I ever surprised!! This little thing really works!! It's quiet and in a discrete area, no one even knows it's there. The air seems fresher, cleaner like when you keep a window open but without the cold fall/winter air coming in. This time of year, the windows stay closed more, so the smells seem to accumulate, this little device is taking care of them just wonderfully. Replacement filters aren't too expensive either, so I can see using this item for a long time to come.
Customer Review: Fabulous Fabreze Summary: 5 Stars
I have used a number of air filters and most of them don't remove odors all that well. This little unit is not only very quiet it does a great job of removing odors. If you have a smoker in your household I highly recommend it to remove that telltale odor that stinks up the clothes, furniture, et cetera. Simple to insert replaceable charcoal filter, plug in, and flip the on switch. Although it indicates most effective at six feet from odors it will be effective in a larger area. After using this for a week I ordered three more for the bathroom where the litterbox is and other areas to remove odors and filter the air. I ordered the replacement tobacco and pet filters along with the standard models as well. The shipping is a bit high and not covered by Amazon Prime, but I recommend this appliance.

Customer Review: Works suprisingly well...the perfect gift! Summary: 4 Stars
This little thing works much better than I had anticipated. In a small bathroom, it seems to take odors out of the air pretty quicky, especially if the door is left shut for a while after you-know-who takes a you-know-what. It makes a little bit of a fan noise, but who cares?
I haven't changed the filter yet, so I can't comment on filter life. The model with the nightlight is useful, but it is a bit annoying that the night light can't be turned on independently of the fan- there is no auto-on sensor, etc.
This thing is probably a great addition to any guest bathroom (provided your guests can figure out what it is and how to turn it on), and might also make a perfect gift for the men in your life who are unashamed of their tendency to stink up the bathroom.
Customer Review: wonderful odor eliminator!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have a cat litter box, a rabbit litter box, and a doggie pee pad all in one small area (within 5 feet or so of each other) of my living room. Needless to say, sometimes the smell of urine was very noticable. Especially the ammonia smell from the rabbit pee - even though the boxes are cleaned twice daily. However, after plugging in the febreze odor removal appliance, it really cleared up any noticable odors and I can walk into the living room and not be assaulted by urine smells. LOVE this little plug in. I am currently using the general use filter that came with the unit, but I also bought the separate pet odor filters too. I will try one of those next. I'm going to take advantage of the 4 for 3 promotion and get some of these for gifts.
Customer Review: A miracle for catbox odors Summary: 5 Stars
I don't know how this item works, it just does. We have a three senior citizen cats who are attached to clay cat litter and all it entails, including not the best odor control. We've been using this odor remover for about a month and it's amazingly effective. It's fairly quiet, just sounds like a small fan, and hasn't kept the skittish cats away from the cat box at all. The only con might be that it needs to be plugged in to work and for maximum effectiveness it needs to be within six feet of the odor source, so if you don't have an outlet handy, you may have to rig an extension cord like we did.
