I got this at Walmart a couple months ago to put in my kitchen as it doesn't have an exhaust fan, I couldn't get it close enough to the oven to suck up the smell of food when I cook (I didn't dock it for this as its not made to be a stove exhaust fan, nor is it advertised that way. so I moved it to another room that usually had a slight odor and within a day it was gone, and remains to be fresh whenever I walk in. I'm not sure how stinky the bad reviewers are, but look at the numbers, It does a great job at odors of all types!Customer Review: I like it

I bought one for the bathroom and one for the litter box. I didn't have a plug close enough to the litter box for it to work, so they are both in bathrooms now. They work great - we call them the stink machines. One of the nightlights burned out and I haven't figured out how to fix it. Also, I have yet to get the red dot thing to work. I change the filter when it stops working - every few months.
It takes the smell out of the air, but doesn't put any fragrance in the air.

We have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes. I have tried many different air fresheners for the cat's room and this device seems to work the best so far. It doesn't mask the orders it eliminates them. I also notice less litter dust in the room. Not sure if this is due to the odor remover device or not but it was just an observation I made. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who owns pets. The fan does make a little bit of noise but is nothing you, or your pets, can't get used to.Customer Review: Worked... for a couple of days

I bought this for my bathroom, where my cats' litterbox also lives. I was shocked when I plugged it in. For the first 48 hours, it was amazing how much of a difference it made in the smell.
However, after about that long, it seems to have stopped working almost completely. This was disappointing, after such a promising start. I'm hoping a new filter may do a better job, but so far I'm not terribly impressed.

I was a little skeptical because I've tried just about everything to get the cat smell out of our house and nothing has worked. This little fan is amazing! I'm sure in a multiple-cat household the filters won't last as long as they otherwise would, but the smell is virtually gone. We have 2 litterboxes in a small laundry room, and the room now smells just like any other room in the house, not like a cess pool.
