I have had my Felco F-6 for probably 10 years.
The quality is fabulous and I can use them a lot without my hand getting tired or blistered. I'm amazed that I still have not had to replace the blades - they're probably not quite as sharp as they were when they were new, but they still do a great job.
I probably have average-size hands for a woman and they fit my hand great. Some of the other pruners on the market just feel a bit too bulky to me to be really comfortable.
Get a pair of these - you won't regret it. They are well worth the money.

This is a beautiful tool and upon arrival, I was able to quickly clean up my clematis and echinaceas, making everything look neat quite effortlessly. However, although I'm fairly mechanically inclined, I'm having trouble interpreting the directions and don't know what I'm supposed to do with Part 2/30 - would apppreciate any constructive help offered. How do I store this little piece? There's no place to even attach a lanyard. Also, when the time comes to replace parts, will that spring come uncoiled? Absolutely superb pruners for people with small hands. These will save you a lot of energy due to their design, quality, sharpness, and appropriate size for your hands. After a long day of pruning your hands will be much less sore than with other pruners, if they are sore at all! They also are extremely easy to use without damaging delicate parts of a plant due to their blade shape. Great for close in delicate pruning and for pruning larger parts from plants. A must have for any serious gardener with small hands! Highly recommended for people with the appropriate hand size.Customer Review: BEYOND EXCELLENCE!!!

On May 3rd or 4th, it dawned on me that the one thing my daughter wanted for her birthday was a pair of the Felco by-pass pruners. I had gotten mine at the botanical garden which no lonmger carried them. I had no idea where to get them! I got on internet, saw that I could get them with one click shopping from Amazon ---and they were cheaper than mine!!!I ordered. They arrived May 7 through REGULAR shipping!!! Her birthday was May 8. I had expected to give them to her late!!! I didsn't!

I purchased these exact same pruners several years ago and have been very pleased with them. However, while trimming in my garden near my pond, I accidentally cut through the pump cord. The pruners protected me from shock but got knicked in the process. So I've ordered this replacement pair, which I hope to use for many years to come. They are terrific for small handed people.
