Although I have read reviews about woman appreciating the size, as a man I also have small hand. Although I usually work with much larger tools, it is great to have pruners that fit exactly in my hands. These pruners are light which means I can now work for a longer period without hand fatigue. And lastly these are professional, well made, "last for life" pruners.Customer Review: Just perfect

They are as described; a perfect fit; and were packaged with instructions for care and a second blade.
I cannot close them with one hand, though - as the "latch" is too tiny for me to grasp - it hasn't mattered; an aside for the improved version; a possible concern for a careless youngster.

The Felco F-6 Pruner was recommeded by an avid gardener that I know. Best thing I've done for myself in years. This is a tool every person who has a yard and garden needs to have. It makes your work go twice as fast and you'll not be worn out. I have lots of prunning and I'd recommend this prunner to everyone. The Felco pruners are a great investment. This small hand pruner works just fine in my big hands for delicate pruning and getting in tight places to deadhead. This is my second, I have a regular size pruner (8" blade) that is 20 years old and the only repair I've ever done was to order a replacement spring. People with "special needs" will know what I'm talking about. If you're left-handed then you'll appreciate left-handed scissors, guitars, knives etc. etc. "Small" hands appreciate tools they can get their hands around.
