Whether you need a small workbench or a monster 4'x8' bench you can make it with this kit.
A nice bonus is the shelf links. Who doesn't need extra shelving in the garage/shop/home/shed?
I built a 3'x8' work table using this kit. It's bomb-proof and has a capacity of 1000 pounds per shelf! Heck you could probably bury me in this sucker! Mostly I use my table for woodworking but ALL my DIY start on this table.
Just think...a few 2x4's and some plywood and you've got a nice work table. Look above for mine.

I needed a workbench for my basement and looked into some of the pre-made ones from inexpensive to expensive scandinavian ones. I liked the idea of the sturdy ABS legs with predrilled holes for screws and I loved the price.
This was really easy to put together and is sturdy. I am very satisfied with it and have done a lot of work on it since putting it together.
Maybe some day, I get a thousand dollar swedish one but till then, I am happy with this, particularly after a few customizations of my own --- adding a end clamp/vise.

I had specific requirements for a work bench. The least expensive ones I've found online came to $250 with shipping / unit. I paid $39.95 for these legs at Amazon, and bought my own lumber at Home Depot. It was rather simple to put the whole thing together, and I loved the added bonus shelf supports that gave me 2 extra bookshelves also made to order. This , if you have the right tools, is an incredible deal. The product itself is super sturdy. Too bad the price went up since, otherwise I would order a few more units.Customer Review: Great product

This is a great product, very easy to build. The plastic is extremely durable and the kit comes with all the screws you will need, no need to make a trip to the hardware store. I liked this kit so much that I bought another one and put an 8 foot long piece of granite (very heavy) on it, dropped in a sink and now I have a very nice looking outdoor sink for cleaning fish. I would recommend this to anybody wanting to build a strong sturdy bench or table. At the moment I cant find anything negative with this product.Customer Review: Nice workbench

I chose this workbench because of the plastic legs. They shouldn't rot in the damp shop of mine.
I built a 8' x 3' workbench with 10 2x4x8's and 3 sheets of 1/2" mdf. I added 1 sheet of 1/4" hardboard to the top for a nice finish. If I ever need to replace the top layer, I can simply remove the piece of hardboard and replace it.
I was able to build this by myself in an hour. It would be nice to have some help when constructing the middle support legs. It can get difficult to support while building it.
