I used fir balsam, cedar, and pinon incense cones a lot in the 70s and 80s but until I came across some old cones I had stashed in a drawer, I had forgotten how wonderful this fragrance was, so I looked them up on Amazon and ordered a couple of boxes. Sadly, the new products are a disappointment: they are not as intense as they used to be. The little blocks are lighter in color, and altho there's a hint of fir and pine, they mostly smell like smoldering wood.
