Tools and Hardware Reviews of First Alert 2017F Fire and Water Chest, 0.19 Cubic Foot, GrayCustomer Review: Ok Summary: 4 Stars
I sort of wish I would have bought a safe that had a multimedia pocket so I could keep the picture DVD seperate from all my documents. This thing is really sturdy though. I'm glad I bought this brand because it seems really well made.
Customer Review: Good Value Summary: 5 Stars
This document safe is a good value when purchased with free shipping. I'm not concerned with the supposition that a fire may melt the box or fuze it together. The manufacturer will replace the item if it is ever damaged in a fire.
Customer Review: Honeywell 2017 Safe Summary: 4 Stars
Very happy with this purchase - sturdy, very heavy and holds paperwork that makes me feel better should there be a fire. Won't know if it truly works unless it happens, but the peace of mind is there with this product.
Customer Review: Same problem--MOLD Summary: 1 Stars
I had the same problem as many of the other reviewers--mold! After the first time, I tried desiccant packs, but still ended up a lot of mold and all of my most important documents are ruined. Not worth it!
Customer Review: Good Quality Not sized appropriately on the inside Summary: 3 Stars
Good quality safe; however, it was documented that it would hold 8 1/2" x 11" legal papers. You have to stuff them in and crickle the sides to make it work. Otherwise, it meets my needs.
