I don't know about the product itself...but the vendor used by Amazon for this product is TERRIBLE! I ordered the safe and it arrived quickly; however, it was obviously NOT new and factory-direct, but rather a re-boxed return item. The box was mangled and had been re-taped, and the safe itself was dented and scuffed. Amazon was awesome in handling an exchange, and I received another safe within two days. However, this one as well was very obviously NOT a new item. Once I opened the (again retaped) box, it had handwritten notes on the inside of it (!), and the "new" safe I had received as an exchange was also scuffed up. This vendor is DISHONEST -- supplying USED/RETURNED items to Amazon, trying to pass them off as new. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
To reiterate: Amazon is FABULOUS, but the vendor of this particular item not so much... ;)
