I bought four of these and liked them for a few weeks until the push button locks stopped working. That means keys are required at all times.
When I lost a key it took me less than 30 seconds to break one open with a screwdriver. This is "convenience security" only.

I had this box for about a year to keep medicine in and out of the hands of others.... However the lock which is plastic and metal is easily defeated over time. This little safe is perfect for storing medicines! No key needed, just a self-programmed code (like an ATM code). When batteries weaken or die, use key to bypass the code, change the batteries, no need to re-program code. Works very well.Customer Review: Great box, great value

For holding anything you deem valuable, I recommend this box. I love the keyless feature and the option for using a key (in case you forget your combo). It is strong, a great size, and the price it right. I highly recommend this item.
