Anyone that sleeps on the second story of a house should have some way to get out of the house if the stairs are blocked. this provides that at a good price. One thing that could be better is to have some kind ladder like this hidden in like a window sill planter or something like that.Customer Review: Great for Escape

Luckly this hasn't had to be used. It's still in the box but looks easy enough to use. We bought it for our daughter who lives on the second floor in an apartment.
