I am very impressed with this flag. It has embroidered stars, as described. The stripes are double stitched. It is clearly labeled as "Made in the USA", I would not want to buy a Chinese (or any foreign) made USA flag.
And, it looks fabulous. The colors are vibrant, the sewing is first class.
Personally, I like a 3x5' flag for the front of our home. Smaller flags seem to be more common, but 3x5' looks great on the standard flag pole attached to the front of our house. I am very proud to fly this flag.

When I came across this product I was quite surprised at the price for such a fine product. The last American flag I purchased was from a local retailer and I know I spent about $40 for it. I do not know if that flag was made in the U.S. or China, but having discovered this product and this supplier here I feel much more fortunate for having done so, and I feel better that it is indeed American made. This flag was frayed within three days of moderate wind, and the bottom grommet ripped out a week later when the wind kicked up a bit. The top grommet was about to go too, when I took the flag down. This is the most poorly made flag I have ever owned, and I've owned several, as my location is fairly windy. But this one is the worst. Upon inspection, the grommets are light-duty, as is all the sewing, especially on the leading edge of the flag, where I would think it should be reinforcedCustomer Review: Excellent flag for the price, sturdy construction

This flag arrived today, I am giving it as a gift to a friend who keeps a permanently lit flagpole. The construction feels sturdy, the nylon fabric has a nice thick weight. The stitching uses strong threading, with double stitching around the edges and the grommets are nice and big. The stars are completely embroidered and they stand out from the surface of the flag, they feel nice. I would definitely recommend this flag and will surely purchase it again in the future.

In ordering this flag I originally received a printed flag instead of the "embroidered, sewn" one described. In returning the flag, I received an apology from Featured Apparel and, in a week or so, a replacement flag. In the meantime I purchased a similar flag from the local Lowe's, although it cost almost twice as much ($24.80 versus $12.99). In looking at the flag, I believe it represents an excellent value and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase Featured Apparel products.
