Very quiet, cools the room well, light weight. Air vents not very adjustable but seemingly not a real problem. We ordered 2, both arrived damaged, one was acceptable, but the other destroyed. Amazon was very quick and pleasant with both shipping a new one immediately and providing for a free return. Just be aware there might be a problem here. It worked alright for the first two months or so. My second summer it got less and less cooler. Now it will knock about 5 degrees off the outside temp. I contacted the service dept and it is past one year, so if I want it fixed (the sealed system is supposed to be covered) I have to pay a 88 dollar service fee. In other words it's going in the trash where it belongs.Customer Review: Good unit

This unit cools very well. The remote is a nice plus. It can be a little loud right when the compressor kicks on but settles after that. I see lots of complaints will all models about them being noisy. Blowing air with any force make noise people. Maybe one of those 1000 dollar models is nice and quiet. If your main A/C doesn't work well, broke, or whatever.....
This is a MUST for You.
It does the job, but don't expect this to cool the entire house.
Noise level is bit loud but temperature is what it matters for me in FL.
Edit: oh yeah forgot to mention, it truly is Energy Saver.

Easy to install & preforms great The remote control is great i can ajust fan speed ,cooling or fresh air only with the push of a button,everything you need to install it comes with it . THe quality & preformence is a 5 star easily
