Works great. WE sure needed it in the surprise heat wave for Seattle this year.
Seattle was sold out everywhere, I ordered from Amazon, it was there the next morning, it beat me down the stairs to the front door. Other than some damage done during delivery, it was A+ reviews. They also replace the damaged one immediately and shipped the damaged one back at no cost to me. Again A+ service from Amazon, and as I said, the product got the job done, came quick and was very affordable!

Gets the job done but it is definitely loud. Not louder than other window mount ACs, but it is much louder than the wall mount ones with the cooling unit on the outside. I did not have the latter option and therefore, it was easy to choose this baby from the available options given also its energy efficiency.
It is also very easy to install and very easy to remove during winters. The remote helps a lot and also has a display with current temperature and other useful settings.

So far, I love this unit. I put it in a fairly large bedroom and it keeps the room as cold as we want it to be in the summer heat. Someone mentioned they wish there were only manual controls. At first I thought the remote control was a joke, until I wanted to stay under the covers and not have to get up in the freezing room to turn it off :-) It even has a built in digital thermometer. Nice touch. So far we love it!Customer Review: You want cold air, fast..this is it!

Buy it!
This is a truly great AC unit.In a small room (600 feet or less) it has the power to drop the inside temp to 65 in no time. No mater what the outside temp.

Remote works well from up to 20 feet or more away.
One thing...it is a bit LOUD!
Low is not too bad.
High...ear plug time!
But if you want cold air fast...
Buy it!

First of all, thank you to all reviewers, it helped me in my decision to purchase one, just bought it but havn't installed yet. I am a little confused at the cost of this unit through Amazon, 280.00? I thought they were very comparable in pricing, like I said I just bought one at Lowes for 208.00 (every day price, and in stock)
Hmmm, the things that make you scratch your head huh?
