When I received this item it had a busted plug in. It is a circut breaker plug in. It was cracked and I don't think it was from the shipping. I cut it off and put on a different plug and it works but it is not the plug in that is suposed to be on it. I wrote Amazon a email about it but did not receive an answer. The A/C unit arrived damaged. The container was not properly padded at all, so it comes like this from the factory. The metal was bent. We had UPS pick it up and ship it back to Amazon.com. About 10 days later, Amazon refunded the money. I never got to see how the unit works. If they just put a little more care into packaging, I would have a brand new unit and Amazon would have their moeny!Customer Review: great a/c unit for a casement window

If you have a casement window, the kind that opens out, this is the unit to buy, its quiet, and pretty easy to install, it comes with the bracket and framework to cover the rest of the open window, i used plexi-glass instead of the white cardboard but either way will work out. i recommend this unit for a casement windowCustomer Review: Bad experience

The compressor went out the 2nd day of use. decided to have it fixed under Frigidaire warranty. it took a month to get the part. when the repair man replaced the compressor the relay that starts it stuck on. We are still waiting a replacement relay.Customer Review: Quick Installation

Took only 20 Minutes to put in. Much easier than a regular A/C unit for large Windows that slide side to side. My window was a bit larger than allowable so I had to add plexiglass to fill the rest of the window. Works great and love the remote.
