Tools and Hardware Reviews of Fulcrum Multi-Flex LED Task Light, SilverCustomer Review: really sheds a little light on the subject Summary: 5 Stars
After using the "itty bitty book light' for many years and going through too many I thought I'd try a different type. The result is I love it. I thought with the AAA batteries on the light it would be heavy but it isn't. The light is LED and very bright. My wife still uses her "itty bitty book light" with it's incandescent bulb so I can compare side by side and my light is much brighter and so it is easier to read. I suggest you give it a try. The price is reasonable and the flexible light support is very good at aiming the light on the page instead of in your face.
Customer Review: Don't waste your money Summary: 1 Stars
We have alot of power failures and reading with a flashlight was no longer cutting it. After looking at several book lights and reading many of the reviews here I decided to try this one. I tried it out and it is impossible to read even 1 paragraph with this light. The light is so dim! And the switch is faulty, the slightest movement of the book or page and the switch gets jiggled and turns off. It's only redeeming quality is that it takes regular batteries. This light is not worth spending your money on!This is a waste!
I am going back to the flashlight!
Customer Review: Not the greatest for Kindle Summary: 3 Stars
Book light reviews are always subjective, so I had a real hard time choosing a new one and finally settled on this for my new Kindle.
With the batteries in it and the way the clamp is made, it doesn't clip onto the "naked" Kindle anywhere. It will keep falling off unless you hold onto it with your hand. I've resisted buying a cover because of the added weight (I mean, the Kindle is supposed to be lightweight, right? That's its big selling point), but it looks like I'm going to have to cave in so I have something to clip this light to.
Customer Review: Dissapointment Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this in September of 2010 because of the good reviews it received. It is only 6 months old and it is extremely unreliable. The light "shorts out" whenever I move it. It doesn't stay bright, is constantly dimming while I read. If I fool with it or knock it it may turn brighter or it may go off completely. It doesn't even turn when I use the on/off switch. It seems to have a mind of its own. Very inconsistent. I'm looking for a new light right now and wanted to get this review in to warn others not to buy this one. Piece of junk.
Customer Review: such a steal! Summary: 5 Stars
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GETTING THIS LIGHT! the clip is nice and big, so it fits on pretty much anything (i clipped it to the side of my bed)- they weren't kidding about it being a floodlight style light- the light easily covered over half of my bed! i really like how easy it is to adjust the position of the light- you can even swivel the head, which can be fun for making shadow animals :). unlike most reading lights, the light from the LEDs looks just like a normal lamp, giving you plenty of light for reading- no squinting required!
