Customer Review: Good lighting, way too heavy and bulky for thinner or smaller books

Ok so I really want to like this thing. Its really bright, has an awesome moveable neck and all, but the clip on base is very heavy and bulky for books that are thin like graphic novel size. I bought it so I can read my graphic novels at night, but attaching it onto the back it bends forward from the weight and puts a crease where it was attached. I ended up having to attach it to my finger while I read just to enjoy my graphic novel without ruining it. I would suggest something smaller, I will be looking on Amazon for such a light.Customer Review: lightweight, but very white light

Lightweight, attractive, fairly easy to use, great flexible neck, inexpensive. CONS: clip is too large and therefore challenging to clip inside a book -- this part of the design needs to be fixed, so that the part of the clip that faces the page you are reading would lie flatter. The light is adequate on its own or as a supplemental light, tho it is not very bright. My only real complaint is that the light is much too white -- surely they can figure out how to make an led light that is a little softer or more attractive?Customer Review: BEST reading light ever

I read the reviews before choosing this reading light -- I have many in the house, having tried others that worked/didn't work/couldn't replace the bulb when it blew, etc. This one is a steady light (boo on the LED things), the easily positioned stem (neck?) keeps it where I want it, and the light spreads to encompass the two pages of an open book. The clip is easy to use and it does hold extremely well.
In short, when I have to buy another reading light, I'm going back to this company for this product!

I am totally satisfied by this reading light. The neck isn't perfect: some positions just don't hold up, but it never takes more than four seconds to get it in a good place. Almost all of its weight is in the three AAA batteries. It clips sturdily to a hardcover or group of pages of a paperback. The bluish LED light is very easy to read by and the light is wide enough to illuminate both pages of a large hardcover book. My favorite part is not having to get out of bed to turn off the light when I'm done reading.Customer Review: Great Light at a Great Price

I bought two of these lights based on the strength of previous Amazon reviews. We have not been disappointed! The LED light is bright (though a little blue), and I really like the control offered by the flexible neck .... you can set it far from the book for wide light, close to the book if you don't want to disturb a sleeping spouse, etc. The on/off switch feels a little flimsy, but so far it has worked just fine.
Overall, this is a vast improvement over the old book light I had been using.
