Tools and Hardware Reviews of Fulcrum Multi-Flex LED Task Light, SilverCustomer Review: Great, durable mini clip light Summary: 5 Stars
I bought one of these over a year ago for each of my older children. They have been used all over the house, and not just for the calm, quiet bedtime reading they were intended for. The battery(ies) last a loooooong time. They have been left on all day, stepped on, and little brother does who knows what with them, and they are indestructible. Goose neck is very flexible and stays in place. The light is bright enough to light a book, but not too bright. This has been a happy purchase with no regrets!
Customer Review: I like it Summary: 5 Stars
So I haven't had it long, but so far so good. I love it. Although it is really bright, my mother was sitting next to me on the bus trip I used it for and said it kept her away, (bit of an exaggeration from the way she was snoring a few minutes later). It works great with a hardcover book and a thick paperback (the only things I've used it for). The only thing I find annoying is that it needs three AAA batteries because all the packes I found only came with 2, but other than that I loved it :)
Customer Review: Love this light Summary: 4 Stars
For $10.99, this is a great light. I love the flexible neck and the battery life. It packs well in my nightstand or my suitcase. The LED tends to give off a 'blueish' tint, but you get used to that. The clip is slightly bulky, but doesn't make the light unusable. The light doesn't typically bother my wife when I'm reading late at night (and should be sleeping). It has even doubled as a flashlight while stumbling around in my room in the middle of the night!
Customer Review: Piece of junk Summary: 1 Stars
This product failed within one hour of being used. The light switch is totally inadequate and was designed by a bunch of poorly trained chimps (with apologies to the chimps). For a tiny bit more money a proper switch could have been installed but instead what is present is an engineering joke. Reminds me of the quality of products from China from 20 years ago, not the more recent merchandise. Now, I must remove batteries to turn off the light. Avoid this product.
Customer Review: The only booklight I will use Summary: 5 Stars
I have tried other booklights, most of which only illuminate a small portion of the page at a time. Very annoying. The Fulcrum, however, is more of a floodlight, and pretty much lights up the whole book (both pages at the same time). Awesome. It's also lightweight, clips easily to hardback or paperback books, and lasts plenty long for the money. My husband and I have had 3 of these total, over the course of several years. Battery life is good as well.
