I am very glad I ordered these gloves. I originally bought them for shucking oysters. They work well for this. I use a dull knife with an upturned end. If I was using a sharp knife these would not offer enough protection.
I have found a surprising second use for the gloves. They work wonderfully to open stubborn jars.

This glove smell very bad when it is new. I guess maybe all glove made of this Kevlar material all smell bad.
Beside the smell, I don't feel the glove comfortable to wear. I will try to buy other glove to see if they are better.
However, this glove is inexpensive, compare with other glove.

I bought this gloves as gift to my babie. He uses these gloves primarily for chopping and moving wood. they are fantastic. He really like it and would highly recommend them. They can definitely get warm in the summer, but kevlar is very breathable material. but besides that they are perfect.Customer Review: maybe overpriced

Have no problem with the product. Well the yellow is a bit too vivid!
But now these gloves are selling all over for about $3 discount or $5 regular. And the colors are better-grey or black on white.
Ace hardware and even a $1 store.

I priced these gloves against Kevlar gloves from my favorite sources (MSC, Grainger's, even eBay) and nobody came close to having the same price for equivalent quality. Definitely great buy! In fact, I bought a second pair (one for work, one for side-jobs)!
